Director of Maintenance
Bob Rosenberg started in the aviation industry in 1992 working for Spirit Aviation, a Part 135/145 Charter Maintenance Facility as a Junior Mechanic Performing Inspection, Alteration and Repair of their Fleet of 12 Turbine Powered Aircraft. He worked his way up to become the Lead Mechanic on Learjet, Westwind, King Air and Gulfstream aircrafts. Bob gained advanced knowledge and skill on all maintenance operations including engine removal and installation, systems, and component troubleshooting repair. Bob became the Vice President of Maintenance in 1997 for Sprit Aviation, where he developed and supervised an 11-person maintenance team. He operated and maintained a fleet of 32 aircrafts. As the Vice President of Maintenance, he was responsible for staff supervision, technical development, and business administration of the maintenance division of the company. When Spirit Aviation sold in 2009, Bob went on to open his own Maintenance Facility Business in Van Nuys Airport. In 2009, with his extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and administration operations, Bob founded a 145 Repair Station, Jet Tech LTD. As the President of the company and Director of Maintenance, he is responsible of supervising a 10-person team of mechanics and administration to support repair station work. Jet Tech Ltd has capability to work on all size aircrafts, Bombardier, Gulfstreams, Embraer, Learjet and Textron. Bob is also the approved West Coast MRT for Pratt & Whitney Engine Services.
